Pie plate truck. The driver side orange turn signal just barely lights up. Tried new bulb to no avail. Is this a housing grounded fixture?
Thanks jim

The bulb hardly lights up wirh the housing screwed in place or hanging free. Spent time with dremel and wire wheel and made every surface bare metal.
What and where should I look at next? I am a dim bulb myself when electrical issues are involved. Especially the dreaded turn signals!
Thanks
Jim

Solder a wire to the housing, make sure the bulb is clean, run your new ground wire to the rad support somewhere. Most likely that will fix the issue. Had similar problems with the lights on my early 65 w100. I added a ground to all the housings. Fixed all my lighting problems.

I did some more sanding of the housing and the grill mounting surface and now have a bright working bulb !
Those pesky grounds.
Thanks again guys!
