Do any other mopar passenger cars or later pickups use the same headlamp switch? Is the switch the same for 61-71?

Same as what. I know the 69/71 is different to the 68 truck switch. 68 and back to 61 , Not sure if their is any differences among those years. 69/71 May be the same as corresponding car years. Easy to do a side by side comparison. Pt number comparison also. :thinking

68 has no dome light circuit. Switch is in dome light 69/71 have dome light on/off in dash light switch. :thinking :thinking

the dome light gets it's power from the headlight switch. The rheostat in the headlight switch controls the brightness of the dash lights.

But in the 69 to 71 switch you turn switch counter clockwise to turn light on in cab with door closed. The 68 switch does not do that. You must reach up to light to switch on. the 69/71 switch will allow you to have door switches to turn interior light on when door open. The headlight switch is different . I know the dome light gets power from headlight switch .Two ways to light it up from the different switch.
