Single speed wiper switch breaker trips
The breaker in the switch trips but, then resets, Motor runs 5-6 seconds, breaker resets 10-11 seconds and repeats. Bad switch or motor OR ground? Thanks

Re: Single speed wiper switch breaker trips
I am thinking motor dragging from lack of lube causing high amp draw.

Re: Single speed wiper switch breaker trips
Ya I was wondering about that from sitting in a field since 88. I got PM about the motor. I'll try to clean it up first and see if I can get it working. Thanksdodgeboykim wrote:I am thinking motor dragging from lack of lube causing high amp draw.

Mine did the same thing, and was the switch shorting out internally.

Re: Single speed wiper switch breaker trips (Fixed)
Bingo...Gold star for you. Took motor a part, cleaned terminals and such, new lube works great now.dodgeboykim wrote:I am thinking motor dragging from lack of lube causing high amp draw.

I accept bills in small denominations but none from other countries. Only U S or Canadian money.
Glad you found the problem.
