Headlight Switch/Dash Gauge Light
I have some type of short in my dash gauge light. When I pull out the "L" knob, the headlights come on, but the gauge light has a mind of its own. If I wiggle the "L" knob the gauge light sometimes comes on, but not always. Do any of you electrical wizards out there have a recommendation on: 1. What part(s) I should replace?; 2. Where I might find the part(s)? 3. What installation tips I should know about? Thanks.

I would think the switch is basically toast. When you pull it out to turn in lights their is a rheostat/coil of fine wire that controls the dash light intensity. Sounds like it may be broken or twisted. Just replace.

Replace switch. Agreed. But where do I find one?
