Anyone know the difference between 2510945 & 2231146 ?

251 looks like it was added as a change or addition and reflects P - W bodies

223 is D - P - W 300 and up

I also see 1939389 for early D

Any ideas? I need to look at my extras to see.....

Shawn, the early starting with 19 is what is in my'61...pot metal. The other is what is in my '67 has plastic cam parts...not sure of the model #. here are the 2 different styles:

Ah... are you thinking that it is best to stick to the early with pot metal parts? as far as long lasting material? I found an NOS but it is the 25 number

I'd probably buy it and then maybe sell one of my used ones.

I would stick with the later model. The early one has a slide switch that is problematic. :2cents
