stuck
I tried to pull the distributor today from the 225 slant six in my 67 A108 van. Disconnected the vacuum advance line, coil & distributor leads and hold down bolt but instead of just lifting out as usual, its stuck. REALLY stuck, as if it were still bolted down. I've never had this happen before. BTW, this isn't a junkyard dog; it was a running/driving truck until about a week ago. Any thoughts/advice are appreciated. Thanks

Re: stuck
Twist the rotor as you pull. They're not like 318/360 slotted. They're spiral geared. Carefull, I believe they're plastic.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: stuck
Can you turn the distributor like your timing it if not get some PB blaster and soak it down if after a day it don't turn spray some non flammable brake clean on it dry it real good they take a propane torch and heat the bottom of distributor after you remove the torch spray some blaster on it and let it wick in then try turning it to get it loosen up had a 318 that it stuck was a pita to get it broke loose.
