When I use my windshield wiper motor it will turn off with the wipers in the middle of the windshield and then come on again and then stop placing the wipers at different locations on the windshield. It appears some type of timer is causing it to act this way.
Is it a bad wiper switch or a bad motor?

Re: wiper motor
It's your wiper motor "transmission", it returns your wipers to park position. Mopar used to make a rebuild kit, but haven't seen one for years. It's all mechanical contact switches inside the motor housing. So, bad wiper motor.

Re: wiper motor
I put a wiper motor from a 92 ram and a rotary delay switch from a ford in my 62. pretty easy swap really, had to make the arm from the 62 motor fit the 92. I have the dash out so i will post a pic later.
