Anyone got dual batteries under the hood? Or pics of a shelf you constructed?
Dang, I remember some old truck I had or seen that had a passenger side inner fender all modded for a battery, nicely done, and unfortunately it isn't one of my trucks... I could use that inner fender right about now.

Re: Pics of dual battery set-ups?
Years ago I modified a stock battery tray from the drivers side from a 61 to 71 truck and installed it on the passenger side. Had to move the horns in my 71 and some other wires to make it work. Wasnt hard. Have also modded a stock 72 to 80 drivers battery tray from the drivers side to fit on the passenger side in my old 76 W200.

Yeah, I was thinking of using another 61-71 battery tray flipped. But it has to sit back a way unless you modify the inner fender (only maybe 6" between rad and inner fender on that side of the engine compartment) and one thing I'm not looking at doing if I can help it is to make alternator replacements or maintenance a hassle.

One thing I forgot to mention was I had a narrow rad. Rad width will dictate how it will work. Also my truck had a 318 and that might make a difference.
