Mopar Chrome ECI box- streetable ????????

Post by moparbob71 »

Hi All, I was digging thru my collection tonight and found a new in the plastic Chrome ECI box. From what I understand it's good for up to 8000 rpm and hotter spark? My question is- do I use this on my mild 383 that I plan to drive and not race or go with a stock or orange box. I don't have much experience on these new fangled contraptions
Everyone with an opinion kick it in please. Also, still looking for a nice used eci distributor :banghead
Thanky!
Bob

The chrome box is totally streetable. I've got one on my 63 D-100 thats been in that for about 5 years. It was in a Dart I race before that. Nice box with a hotter spark. Use it!-Tom.

Totally streetable. I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a completely stock car, or mildly built race car.
