Here's a silly question... to which side of the coil does the condenser hook up? I thought it was the negative.

The one that bolts to the coil bracket does fasten to the MINUS (-) side of the coil. I thought that condenser was for a radio suppression (keeps that static out of the radio), if I am not mistaken.
