Dodge 6 Bolt 16 inch tubeless rims

Post by Greg »

Did Dodge make 6 bolt tubeless 16 inch rims for the 1 ton chassis? If so, I need eight rims. Thanks...Greg

hey greg, check with stockton wheel company. my dad bought 6 lug 16" wheels for a 41 gmc dually from them. if they have or make those, im sure they can hook you up with what you need. and dad claimed the price was about the same as a custom steel wheel for any other truck would have been. :Thumbsup

I've done some investigation on this and if you have a set of rims that are in good condition you should be able to have the centers removed and installed on a non split wheel. If your centers are beyond repair then you'll have to find some that you could use. Stockton does not have or make the ofset dual wheels with the 6 lug 7.25" bolt pattern that us 1 ton guys need. Some of the Ford guys are having the same problem. Last I heard Stockton had some 17.5 wheels with this bolt pattern but who wants em if you can't buy tires.

hey hoss, you are correct about stockton not carrying the wheels. after another discussion with dad, i realized i under stood him wrong. all they did was weld his centers into a one piece outer rim and powder coat the assembly. sorry for the misunderstanding.

:Thumbsup Thanks a lot, Trey for the hint. I asked the company for rims. I ordered one 7*16 rim with 4.5" backspacing to test on my truck. The old split rims, mounted on my truck have more or less the same BSM. If it fits and holds a 235/85R16 tubeless tire, I'll use it as a spare wheel and gonna order four more rims of the same specification and kick off the hated split rims.
