Brake vaccum booster?

Post by centralwildcat »

Hey all, I have a question for ya...its for a F@RD though... I just picked up a $50 1975 F100 4x4 for a farm/firewood truck. One of the few problems is that everytime I step on the brakes, I hear a leaking air sound and I really got to step on her to get the POS to stop...is that a sign that I need a new vaccum booster? Any other ideas?
Thanks for the F@rd help, ya'll are the greatest...mattc

cwcat double check all vacume lines if all seem good then it's the booster, good find on a work truck, & if it runs for $50 you stoled it
