Shocks for a smoother ride??

Post by Daddiojoe »

The lowering idea is shelved for a while at this point, but I do want my truck to ride smoother. A lot smoother. The springs are tired, so it's a little lowered that way.

I've got Rancho 5000s on it now. What's going to make a big difference?

Thanks,

Joe

those are top dogs, they make up for bad springs, you couldn't get any better than that, if you still need help, then get the 2$200.00 air bags, eliminate all but one spring in the front, and your call on the rear. Those Rancho Shocks make up for all bad springs if you don't like your ride with them, then you seriously have bad problems :thinking

I agree with Robin...I just put on Ranch 5000's all around on my shortbed and it made a world of difference on handling and ride.....by far the best thing ive done to the truck so far! I think im going to stiffin it up a bit more in rear with some heavier rate springs here real soon. Im 300 lbs and when i get in the drivers side sits a few inches lower then passenger side.. it has to look like its leaning bad to the left when im driving down the road!
