Pic of '67 power brake distribution block location please???

Post by DarrellG »

Hello guys,

Ok - I'm there. I'm going to mount a NOS '67 power booster and MC on my '65 D200 this weekend. I pulled the little 5 way distribution block from a '68 (non-power) tadem MC truck a while back...

I know I need to punch a hole in the frame rail, I'm curious exactly where for a factory look. I'm thinking just due south of the MC? Anybody with factory power brakes who could measure the distance from some other landmark would be much appreciated!

Thanks all,
Darrell

The center of mine is about 4" back (towards the firewall) from the center of the front axle. It also looks like it's directly under the front of the master cylinder.

I've got a 71' with factory power brakes.

Hope this helps. :Thumbsup

Thanks FG! - that's what I was thinking/planning, just go directly below the MC, keep the lines straight - I guess stock doesn't matter since I'm upgrading, but I appreciate the info, I'm anal. Measure twice, drill once

More questions to follow about the hardlines I'm sure :thinking
