single to dual master do I need to adjust Pedel length ?

On my 63 I installed a dual master when I bench bleed the mc it worked ok. when I installed it I only get fluid out of the rear line the part nearest to the fire wall. Do I need to adjust the lenth of the rod or did I do something wrong in the install. I have since removed the mc and use a punch to move the cylinder and got fluid from both holes.

Almost sounds like you answered your own ?. I would definately look for a rod from a 6r-71 without power brakes. Jim
