19.5 WHEELS ?

Post by crazyinalabama »

WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT 19.5" WHEELS WOULD WORK ON A 1968 D-200 ? WITHOUT CHANGING OUT ANYTHING, JUST A DIRECT SWAP OUT.
THANKS

The 19.5" rim is listed as "Use As Required" in the
4/19/63 parts manual for D & W 200 Models.

Hola Class

I was just speaking with a fella who lives just south of Missoula, Mont who has five 19.5 wheels with tires mounted. His second question to me is from what years did they offer this option ??? The first question was what is the value or want of these tires and rims ??? I had to tell him that I did not know.

if they are the old split rim type , good luck in finding somebody that will change a tire.
what i was looking at was the newer style 19.5 steel wheels by rickson. if they will fit i suppose i will start saving up for a set.
the 16 in. are ok, but they wearout to fast and dont compair against 19.5's for load carry capability.
