Remove steering column 69 D100

How do I remove the steering column on a 69 D100 2WD? I see the under dash bolts have to come out and the bolts in the floor pan. How do I get it out of the manual steering box?

There is a rag joint after it comes through the firewall. Just below that is where it attaches to the steering box. There is a 12 point bolt that must be COMPLETELY removed, not just loose. Then, assuming you have the shift linkages all removed, it should be able to slide up. You may have to "pry" it a little to get it off. But, you must have the bolt all the way removed as it locks the shaft in place.
