Lowering 64/swapping brakes

Post by BobinOly »

Need to lower a 64 swept. One way was to pull leaves from the springs another was to swap out springs. Picked up a 75 D100. Can these springs be used and can I swap the brakes from the 75 to the 64??
Thanks

the 75 has IFS, the frame bends in, and the spring is vertical, and your 64 has a straight axle with leafs, you can send in the straight axle and have a drop axle made, or go to http://www.eatonsprings.com and order springs that will drop the front 3"and keep all 5 of the springss and have a good ride and have the correct geometry!

you can also go to the spring shop and have most of the arch taken out of the springs for around $75.00 aside and drop it quit a bit! :Thumbsup
