66 Drag Link for Steering

Post by acirco »

Is a 69-71 Drag Link the same for earlier models like a 66? Cannot seem to find a reasonable price on a 66 model drag link............thanks.

As far as I know the pre 68 drag link is different from that of later models, it was a pain to try to track one down for my 65 but I found one eventually,

Thanks, pretty much destroyed the original getting it off so the hunt begins. If anyone has a source please let me know.

It's a pain digging through the Moog book, but I have made one up out of a couple of tie rod ends.
Keep the one you destroyed for dimensions.
I don't have a stock axle so the numbers wouldn't help you.

I think you are looking for MOOG part # DS 653. They should be available for about $150 new. Also, Vintage Power Wagons has them new but $325.
