W200 shock numbers

Post by Kaegi »

Does anyone have the correct part numbers for monroe gas shocks for 69 to 71,W200? parts sites are almost always wrong on old vehicle shocks and brake hoses

I just got new front and rear shocks for my '65 D100 off of Rockauto and they are a perfect fit. They got about 20 different ones that should fit, if you want Monroe's they have:

31131 Monro-matic (Front) - 34853 Monroe Gas-Magnum (Front) - 58484 Monroe Gas adjusting and Coil Spring (Rear)

The 31131 is also what my truck called for on the front and they work real well. If you are concerned about them fitting you can check on Rock Auto for the dimensions of each shock or let me know the length of your shock from hole to hole compressed and fully extended, I can confirm there compatibility for you :Thumbsup . The diameter of the mounting holes should be 11/16"

If you haven't used Rockauto they have really cheap and fast shipping, here's the link: https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dod ... orber,7556
