Tie rod end left hand D100

Post by Txas2step »

Any idea on source for a left hand tie rod end for my '67 D100 . :study :thinking Plenty of right hand. You would think with our new Administration , there would be plenty of Lefts. :joker

Hear you loud and clear regarding the administration.

The Mopar/Chrysler part number for that tie rod end is: 2240672

The Moog and others part number is: ES288L

Perform a search for either and it'll return a few results with the lowest price my search found was $60.00.

Hilltop, who I find is usually pricey, is offering a pair (L + R) of genuine Mopar ends for $110.00. I'd probably go that route, as the quality is a given, if the shipping is not nuts. Otherwise, I see Autozone was still offering the ES288L for $60.

I'm getting old. I remember when I thought $10 for a tie rod end was outrageous.

Well I ended up with Moog ES140R and ES62L. Will have to see how they fit on the steering arms. :thinking
