Part # needed

Post by Denis »

Anybody know the part numbers of the wheel bearings and races for a 1968 W-300 with Dana 70. Also a source for the front spring eye bushings, bolts and shackles.

Can't give you part numbers, but try a Napa, they might have what your looking for.

Front or rear? The part number is usually stamped on the bearing and the race.
Front spring parts are extremely difficult. Try Vintage Power Wagons, call and ask them for help.
I got rear bushings and pins for mine at Betts Springs - back in the 90's!

I've had great experience with Inland Truck Parts. They're a Dana-Spicer distributor. I bought a used step van for my business years ago. They had some yahoo know nothing "mechanic" doing their service. He didn't press the seals into the brake drums. When I pulled the drums, they were sitting on the spindle and all the shoes were coated with axle lube. Of course, the differential went dry. The only thing I salvaged was the ring, pinion, housing, and axle shafts. It was a Dana 70. Inland didn't have everything in-stock, so they had it all drop ship directly from Dana-Spicer. I had it in four days. Prices were reasonable, too.
