Check to see if these pins have bronze or plastic bushings....
Bronze would be my choice. :2cents

I would definitely urge ball bearings and bronze bushings. It improved the steering feel for my 68 D100.

Is that a ball bearing set, or stacked washer bearing? I'm about to do mine on my 67 d200, ordered a set by AC Delco a long while back and, while the bushings and ball bearings appear correct, the king pins are thinner than what was there originally, so I'm going to probably be ordering a different set.
Don't have the AC Delco on with me, but will post it tonight .

I replied to your inquiry on spindle bolt size just a short time ago

It's got the brass bearing stacked washer, the one I replaced had the ball bearing. I didn't see an option for the ball bearing, but if need be I do have part #'s on the old bearings.

I got the set made by Moog with bronze bushings, do be warned that you have to ream bronze bushings to size with a reamer, plastic ones you don't but aren't as durable. I didn't know this at the time and spent 4 hours and went through 3 wheel cylinder hones slowly boring out the bronze..
