power steering conversion

does anyone know if you can replace manual steering with power steering on a 1963 dodge d100 town wagon, 2 wheel drive with a slant 6 /222cu.in. engine?

There is a factory power assist setup that works pretty good. Had one on my D200. I currently have a 1963 D100 and plan on doing a power steering conversion. I'm looking at using a reverse rotation power steering box and crossover setup. It will require new steering arm on the passenger side, but I was probably going to need that anyway when I get my axle dropped 3 inches. Still in the planning stage, I haven't even got the thing moving under it's own power yet. It's a slant 6 with 3 on the tree for now. I got a 318 and 727 for it.

Depending on your mechanical creativity you can adapt a number of possible power steering boxes. Just a matter of looking at various ones and deciding on candidate. In my 66 W100 I used a 72 to 77 W series box. Box is ahead of axle, Shock mounts mover to rear of axle. Still has stock column.
