Rear leaf spring question

As you may or may not know my '63 d100 is lowered by removing some leafs (not by me). I was under there looking ( installing mufflers) it seems the 2nd leaf is cut on the ends looks like with a torch, and no leaf straps (if that's what there called). I would like to raise it an inch or so. Anyone have some old stockers they'd like to pitch.
