Late Model 4X4 springs on a 62 D-100 ?

Quick question.
I am looking at the discussions about using late model 4x4 spring on the front of sweptlines for a little lower stance.
What do you do about the spring eye? The pictures I am looking at show them backwards.
Sweptline front loop down/rear up. And late model springs the opposite front up/rear down.
What is the procedure of using late model front 4x4 springs on the front of a 62 D-100?
