Early Scarebird D100 caliper bracket question
As the title states it's there early bracket which takes the Crown Vic rotors. The problem I'm having is the 2 lower 9/16" bolt heads are rubbing the rotor, I've seen pictures where the 9/16" hole is spot faced to sink the bolt into the bracket, these early brackets are not like that and it doesn't say anything about it in the instructions, so other than grinding the bolt head down I don't see another option...bearing spacer? Thoughts?

Well before you say contact Scarebird, I did. But he did say we don't make that kit anymore so there must have been a problem.

Re: Early Scarebird D100 caliper bracket question
I can't speak to the early kits or the D100 specifically, but my D200 Scarebird kit came with bolts that had the heads turned down to probably less than half their original height. See pic below. Sounds like probably that's what yours needs as well?
I would certainly do that before I spaced the caliper out or made the bracket any thinner there...

I would search for flathead allen grade #8 bolts the countersink the plate so the heads are flush. You'll end up with a much stronger bolt and the bracket will not be compromised.

You talking about a shoulder bolt, or beveled?

A flathead bolt has beveled sides like the attached picture. The included angles available are generally 82 and 90 degrees.
