Lowered leaf spring question

The popular option (if you can find one) is a W100 pitman arm. It's ~6" long vs. the stock 7.5" and works well for trucks with about a 2-3" drop. Bud Thorpe usually has some W100 pitman arms for sale.

Yes but some have to use the w100 arm and adjust the steering arm......

Whichever one you need to get your drag link close to level with the truck on the ground. Most likely the 6". It will actually make your steering effort slightly less (better leverage) but will increase your turning radius as the box will stop sooner than before in both directions. Don't forget to adjust your steering stops on the axle after installing a shorter pitman arm. It's bad for the steering box to bottom out the gears inside instead of the axle stops.
