Hello folks, I’m in the process of finding wheels for my pickup. It’s a 1969 d100 with an 8.75 rear axle on drum brakes. I ran across an inexpensive par of steel police wheels that had been widened and was wondering what kind of backspace these trucks can take. The wheels are 15x11 with a whopping 7.5” backspace. If it makes a difference I’m also going to be flipping the rear axle to drop it 3-4”. Thanks for your input, I look forward to hearing about your experiences.
