CV swap question

For those that have done the cv swap, did you cut the frame rail on the bottom and make it level so the cv sub frame sits level from front to rear or just install it with the frame sloping downward towards the front? I am ready to start cutting my frame but want to make sure before I cut anything. My truck is a 67 D200. I have searched all of the threads and couldn't find anything about leveling the sub frame front to rear.
