63 Utiline Parking Brake

Post by BobbyBoyd »

Hey y'all! I'm recently in the Sweptline community with a nice 1963 Utiline. I believe the motor/trans were swapped at one point out of a later (maybe early 70's) /6 Dodge. Because of this, the parking brake is just a total mess. The rear wheels aren't set up for the post 65 rear wheel parking brakes and the transmission isn't set up for a trans brake. Any suggestions on how I should move forward? I believe the trans is a 727.

Come over here and buy a later rear axle with brakes to swap in. Also have all the cables and brackets you'll need.
