D300 wheel adapters???

Post by SweptUp64 »

Well I’m considering to start on one of my trucks I bought last year, and my 300 has the most of my attention, but....I don’t want to run the stock split rims, and I now know about the front disc brake conversion that will give me 8 lug fronts to run newer dodge truck rims, but has anyone found an adapter to fit the rear stock axle?

Any help greatly appreciated

Never heard of such a thing. Simpler to just swap the rear axle.

Got the truck in the shop tonight and realize the rear drum on the drivers side is worn so thin it cracked all the way around...so I agree...it’s toast.

What does everyone recommend for a rear diff? Something that uses 8 bolt rims would be great

69-71 D300 and W300 use 8 bolt rims. Got several here.

Sadly I’m a long long ways from you in Canada, and shipping would be a nightmare. I was thinking newer 3500, but I see they have a different yolk on them that looks like it might be tough to get a driveshaft end for, but good to know on the later model 300 diffs!

Thanks
