Uncle Jimmys IFS
Re: Uncle Jimmys IFS
Here are some updated pics. I'm adding the gussets to each side on the bottom of frame and connected to the crossemember. Then I will box them together with a rectangular plate.

Not sure if you are watching the build thread, but here are a few of mine. Not done yet, but its coming along. Im looking into the caster settings now. The instructions dont mention caster, and I dont see any adjustment for it. Im going to make sure I have this right before it gets welded.

Here are some more. This is not a final install. Just checking. The cross member is welded though.

Re: Uncle Jimmys IFS
Has anyone had to clearance their cross member on this install? It looks like to get the height where I want it, and the engine where it was, Ill have to cut a notch in the IFS cross member. I could get dropped spindles, but Im not sure if thats the best way to go. I may have to call him again and work through this with him on the phone.

Don't hate on my welds. I had to notch my frame for the rack and pinion. Also some gussets for some extra support for the diesel powerplant
