Maybe a stupid question but how in the heck do you get the front brake drum off a 69 dana 44 front 4x4axle thanks

IIRC, u remove the locking hub, bearings and hub. Not a job for the faint of heart.

So 1970 is the first year on a dana 44 that you can remove drum without taking the whole thing apart?
