kingpin kit

I am sourcing a kingpin rebuild kit for my 1970 d100 (2500lb axle) since I have everything apart for sand blasting and painting; there is a slight amount of slop in the spindles so I might as well do the kingpins.
Alot of the kingpin rebuild kits I am finding are now coming with nylon bushings; does anyone have any experience with these? Are they any good, and do they need to be reamed like a metal bushing?
When I rebuilt the kingpins on my sons 1969 d100 a few years ago the kits al came with metal bushings, so this must be a new thing.
Anyone out there have any experience or opinions on installing these nylon bushings into the spindles?

The nylon ones are crap and will not last. Use the metal bushings that also have the ball bearing washers. You will have to ream the bushings. More work but will last you another 40 yrs. :Thumbsup
