Brake backing plate studs

Post by Mdhoover »

I have a 67 D100 with an 8 3/4 rear end. I am looking for the 3/8-24 studs that hold the brake backing plate to the axel/diff housing. The stud is simply listed as "bolt" in the diagram I've attached. It is a press in stud. Regular 3/8 bolts leave play between the backing plate and the mounting flange. Seems like it should be an easy find but the only studs I'm finding anywhere are larger for wheel lugs. Any insight would be appreciated!

Thanks!
