Leaf springs FYI

Post by marklein »

Needed to buy leaf springs for the rear of my W100. After much research and speaking with a local knowledgeable expert, I found that springs from 1973 to 1987 chev k10 are almost an exact fit. The sweptys are 26 1/4 -26 1/4 and 2 1/2 wide. The ones for a k10 are 26 -26 and 2 1/2 wide, close enough that they will fit perfect without issue. They are available in a variety of arcs as well, with one that is 1/4 " from the exact arc.

For me it's about a 500 dollar touch for these. Good compared to having them made at double that.
