I don't know if a standard cab is different. When It quits raining and dries out a little, I'll measure my D200 reg cab and my D300 reg cab.

I just measured my D200 and D300 regular cabs. I measured in the same place as the I did the crew cab, right between the bed and the cab. The D200 reg cab is .213" thick, 1.5" wide, 6" tall. The D300 is .231 thick, 2.75 wide and 7.25 tall. We need someone to measure a D100. I see that the frame width, and possible height varies a bit in different locations . So for consistency, we should all measure in the same place. When we have all the data, we could compile it into a chart or something.

My 1964 D100 HPP is 6" high x 2.125 wide. I'll dig out a caliper and see what its thickness is. It's worth noting mine is a rare truck and there was conversation that it used a different frame than a standard order truck. So I'm curious to see if that's the case.

Here is a chart from 1968 models. Shows section modulus to be the same on 128"wb D100's & D200's.

That conflicts with the parts book, unless there was another reason the D100 and D200 had a different frame after 1966.

Is anyone here good enough with math and engineering to calculate the section modulus of the frames who's dimensions have been provided here? And figure out what it would be if the frame was boxed with the same thickness material? THanks,

Joel

Ya, when u box it, the modulus will be higher!
