Steering issues

Post by Mikestlouis »

I'm new to the truck world. I traded my Plymouth GTX for a nice restored 68 D100. I'm noticing that when I'm cruising on highways that are less than perfect, I'm constantly giving the car inputs. It feels like I'm sliding around and constantly fighting the truck. The truck has 18 inch rims with low profile tires (about 25 total inches) so a terrible ride was expected. I'm just curious if the wheels would cause the truck to jump around and track left to right whenever it meets a degraded road. Any and all tips are greatly appreciated!

Consider the message that Bud (powerwagon54) sent. His rebuild really helped my 68. :Thumbsup
