Hello, I sure could use some help please. I have a 1970 dodge d200. I sent my axle to Sid's to have it dropped. The one sent to me as an exchange does not have a steering stabilizer. I would like to add one but am not sure where it should be mounted to the frame. Thanks for any input.

Steering stabilizer is mounted from near axle spring pad area to cross steering rod. Not to frame. Same basic idea as old school leaf spring 4x4 trucks. :thinking :thinking

Are u asking about a steering stabilizer (not a factory item) or a sway bar (attaches to frame)?

Good point. Didn't think that he may be asking about a sway bar. :thinking :thinking :thinking :thinking :pale

Thanks dodgeboykim. That was what I was looking for. My original axle had the steering stabilizer but this one does not.
