Transmission parking brake shoe

Does anyone know of someone who is selling the parking brake or E-brake shoe for the rear of the transmission type? For clarification, it is the clamp styled type.

Or is it something where I will have to find a shoe that has the same diameter, drill out the rivets, and re-rivet the new pad to the old shoe.

Thanks Paul

I think that is referred to as an "external contracting" band brake. You may be able to have it relined.

If its the type that fits inside a drum, like those on rear axles, then it's internal expanding drum type brake.

You will need to find a re-liner company to do it.

if you search friction services in your area they reline clutches, brake shoes and brake bands all day. usually costs anywhere from35 to 60 to reline a brake band. depends on the shop and the size. the one for my d300 last year was 45 bucks.
