Ok, survey time.
I'm trying to see how many leaves everybody has over the front axle on their D100's. My '69 D100 has 7 leaves in the front, on a 2500lb axle. Seems like a lot, for a half ton (the rear axle's only got 6 leaves), so I was just curious what everybody else had for a leaf count.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Front Leaf Pack question- how many leaves?
I have two 1967 D100's, one is a short wheel base, originally 383, has 6 in the front and 7 in the rear with an overload in there so probably not stock. The other is a long wheelbase, 225, with 5 in the front and 7 un altered looking ones in the rear. Both have a 2500lb front axle but the short bed is 3500lb rear and the long bed is 3600lb rear.
1961 W500, 1965 W200, 1967 D100, 1971 W200 and a few parts trucks.

Weirdness.
The plot (and apparently the pack) thickens
I wonder if it's because of the 'Cushioned Beam' suspension rework they did starting in '69. These leaves are pretty thin...
