Front end rebuild part numbers/prices

I Just rebuilt the front end for my 71 d200, since I had to search for hours for part numbers and info, I decided I wanted to put it all in one and hope it saves you some search time! First off my d200 was the 8 lug setup but I decided I wanted 5 lug, so since my parts truck had that, I just swapped em. From what I found, most of the front end rebuild parts were the same for D200 as D100. I tried to keep this a budget build, so i really searched for the best prices.
Staring with the front leaf springs, my frame shackles had been replaced by the previous owner saving me some time. Not sure what brand they used but it looks similar to the original. So for the leaf spring bushings, I went with rubber, and went with Moog #SB266. I found these thru rockauto for $4.75 each!! 1" round with 1/2" center hole. Found these on eBay all day for $7-10, and Espo.com for $10each +shipping.
The leaf spring bushings I had torched out and pressed in by a local brake & alignment shop for $40.
The polyurethane replacements for these leaf springs ran around $23-30, thru eBay, uspartsoutlet.com, aftermarketsuspensionparts.com and autozone. Tho part numbers for poly were #41005 and #5.2102G.

Shocks are always easy. Went with Monroe #31131. Some may want a heavier duty shock but that's dealers choice.
Rockauto $15.83, summit racing $19.97, eBay $23

Kingpins I went with AC Delco # 45F0044, which comes with brass bushings and roller bearing.
eBay $52, local Napa said it was $80?!?! My old kingpins were seized so I took this into the shop, charged me $170 to knock out old ones with heat, press in spindle bushings and reassemble. Since I don't have a torch and my arm was sore from swinging a sledge it was worth it!!

Tie rod ends; driver side #ES355RL, pass side ES352R. I got these on eBay for $9 each. Rockauto had em cheaper for $5-7.
These were seized as well, local shop heated them out and installed new ones for $30.

Sway bar frame bushings, #9-5157G, summit had non-greaseable ones for $16.97, I went with eBay for a set of greaseable ones for $19.77. Most of these now are polyurethanes And made by energy suspension.

The dog bone (sway bar end link bushings). #9.8107G hourglass shock eye bushing. Made by energy suspension and bought thru summit racing for $11.94 for 2 pairs. A few guys went with 9.9108G but I found these to be too large and didn't seem to work as well. But if u want to try those you can get 9.9108G for $13.19 per pair, or summit for $9.97 a pair. Another older suggestion was #9-8141G, you cut it in half and insert from both ends. $3.97 for pair. But I liked the hourglass shock eye bushing (9.8107G) because it was 1 piece and similar to original size. Just make sure you SAVE your inner metal inserts and DONT press out the outer metal insert. I just drilled out the rubber, popped out the rubber and inner metal sleeve and inserted new bushing and inner rod.

U-bolts, I was extremely lucky to have a set of NOS ubolts come with my truck. Finding ubolts that match originals is tough. Most companies who make them can make them square bends but won't have the flat underside like the originals. Espo said they only make em round and eaton could do a 90' square bend but it wouldn't be flat against the spring. I think true value may have what we need but I didn't look into it.

GREASE! If your getting any poly urethane, buy some sticky grease. You will need it or you will hear about it later!!
Since I was ordering from summit I got 2 small packs of super grease #19-1750.

Thanks to all who have posted links and part numbers and ideas. I found all your info and compiled it into what helped me the most. There's many ways and many different companies and parts to use. But hope this helps.

Thank you so much! This is really useful as I'm coming upon that time with my truck. Do you know if I can get the sway bar and dog bone bushings in rubber? Also, ACDelco doesn't show that part #... do you have another?

Thanks again, Jake

Hey jake, I did not research the sway bar pieces in rubber. I'm sure they can be matched up but I don't have any numbers for you. If I come across any matches I'll post em up. And for the kingpin set, the eBay item number from seller partsboss is 331813796921
The price is $52 with free shipping. Best price I found so far

Johnny, did those kingpins use a bolt or a pin to retain them? I ordered Duralast KA1337 for my truck as they referenced to my truck ( and utilise pins) but they are about 1" too long and are much too wide. Thanks, Jake

Yes the kit I bought came with new retaining bolts, but they are about 1/4-3/8 too long. Much longer than the original. So I reused my original bolts just to have it look better. I think other people have had the same problems with most kingpin kits.

Yep I think all of the kits do. I think they stopped making those short small-head bolts back around the Reagan administration. I had to run a die over my old ones and re-tap the holes to clean them up, but I couldn't abide by those new ones.

I know this is a bit of an old thread, but would these part numbers be the same for a '67 D200?

I couldn't tell ya if they are, I know these seem to be pretty common for the 69-71s, anyone got an older ride they can confirm?
I would think most the pieces are the same those years

1969 D200 here

Are all leaf spring bushings the same size? Rock auto lists different sizes of Moog bushings (1', 1.5") and lists them both as front fwd and rear, rear fwd and rear......?? I'm away from my truck for awhile, or I would measure it. Just trying to buy parts in my spare time.

What about front leaf spring shackle to frame bushings?

Anyone have part numbers for.....

Front leaf spring bushings-4
Front leaf spring fwd shackle to frame bushings-2
Rear leaf spring bushings-4

I've searched and searched. My eyes are fried

Has anyone confirmed whether the above parts are compatible on the 67 D200? I'm embarking on the full front end now that the weather has cooled off and rainy season is over here in "the sunstroke state"
