Steering Box Rebuild Reference

Post by Adam »

I need to have the box rebuilt on my '68 W300. I don't think this box is exactly common. I know several members have had Steer and Gear in Ohio do work for them and been happy with the results. Being that I am in Southern California, there is also Straight Line. Anyone have any experience from either they'd like to share? Anyone have another rebuilder to recommend? To avoid having this thread degrade into vitriolic rants you can PM me you input.

Bud Thorp in Washougal, Washington.
He'll see this and get with you, I'm sure.
There are some boxes that cannot be refurbished
and Bud will advise you as to which models can
and can't be refurbished.
