68 w200 wheel studs
So I was replacing leaky wheel cylinders on the PW, started on passenger side. Took a while but got it figured out. Having to pull axle to do a brake job is a new one on me. New shoes and hardware as well. Went to do the drivers side and learned the hard way they are left hand thread. Yes I broke a wheel stud. No one around seems to have left hand threads. The napa down the road has a well recommend machine shop. Any tips on getting the broken wheel stud out of the drum/hub assembly?

From searching the forum I believe I need 1/2 x 20 studs that are 1 1/2" long. Can anyone confirm this is correct. Stock Dana 60, afaik.

Just use a punch and hammer and drive it out. !/2 inch dia. seems too small to me. Thinking 9/16.

left hand threads are still available. brake and clutch supply in Seattle area can match them up for you. or If you get a part number order online or give it to the parts store guys and they can order them. switching them all out is a waste of money IMO.
