Question, sweptlines used to manual steering boxes ( 1969,70 D100) has anyone used one for the other by changing it with the correct rag joint?
Thank in advance for any help, john

Steering box swap
as I say "everthing could be anything but nothin is always somethin"
Re: Steering box swap
i am in the same boat here and looking for some answers,
to be more specific:
I am looking to retrofit my stock 1969 Ross/Gemmer box with the older and more common Saginaw 525D out of a '66
but I'm not sure if the steering linkage and rag joint are all compatible or not
or if i can swap parts around to make it work...
guess i will find out in a couple weeks if I get some time and space to render the truck undriveable

Re: Steering box swap
the Saginaw and ross/gemmer boxes are a direct swap. no parts needed.
