Power brake question
I am completely rebuilding/replacing the entire brake system. While I am doing this I want to add a booster. What have you guys done in your trucks? What booster/master cylinder did you use? Is there any other modifications needed in conjunction with adding power? I am keeping the drum brakes and upgrading to quarter inch lines. This is a '69 D200.

When I converted my 66 W100 4x4 to Power brake dual system I used 3/16 brakes lines. Been working just fine for 34 years.
My truck is younger than me.

I have like 35' left over from my '85 dodge so I wouldn't have to buy anymore.

Re: Power brake question
I went 3/16 because I used the system from a 68 D100 for my W100. It had larger lines originally before the conversion.

Got it, what other parts did you need? Booster, master cyl, lines...dodgeboykim wrote:I went 3/16 because I used the system from a 68 D100 for my W100. It had larger lines originally before the conversion.

Re: Power brake question
I used the 68 D100 prop block with warning light , Lines and 68 D100 master. I adapted a car power booster.
