Replacement steering and suspension parts drying out?

Post by big66440 »

I've recently started searching for parts again to begin my project and was shocked to find that a lot of the suspension/steering parts previously (easily) available for a reasonable price has almost disappeared. Has anyone else noticed this? what the heck's going to happen years from now when those left over parts are seriously scarce?

A lot of parts are simply too heavy and big to ship affordably, so a lot of that goes to scrap, unfortunately. Unless you are close enough to the seller to make it economically feasible for you to drive there to get the part(s), of course.
