How about these tires for stock restoration. https://www.cokertire.com/700-15-sta-su ... sport.html Some old photos show white walls and some don't. So were white walls optional?

You may also want to look at the Yokohama 7.00R-15 (RY215), it is the same size as the original tire but you get the benefits of a radial tire. I have a set on my '64 Town Panel and they perform well ( as well as a 64 Town Panel will let them).

The Yokohamas are pricey but for me they were worth the extra cost.

Just remember that both the STA and Yokohoma are truck tires and are 6 to 8 ply rated so they will have a stiff side wall, which will give a slightly stiffer ride, but with the smaller road contact, will make steering a little easier.

Just something else to look at.

I like those if you're going for a true stock appearance and are willing to give up a little bit in ride quality.

I don't think white walls were a thing till very late 60's and more into the 70's, even then you wouldn't have seen them on trucks in that time.

Half-ton trucks had whitewalls all the way back to the 1930s. I remember seeing new Dodge and Chevy trucks on the lots close to my house when I was a kid in the '60s with whitewalls.
