How do I get my front drums off my 70 PW

Just wondering how to get the front drums off my 70 Power Wagon. 3/4 ton. Got the tire off, on jack stand, do I have to take the 4 wheel drive hub lock ins off before I pull the drum off or can I just pull the whole drum off without doing anything to the four wheel drive lock in/out adjuster?
